The speaker for the Dinner will be Patrick H. Beckett - archaeologist, ethnohistorian, Director of COAS Publishing & Research since 1973, and founder of Las Cruces' COAS bookstore in 1984.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in geography from NMSU and a Master of Arts degree in anthropology from ENMU. Beckett's presentation on the 27th is called "From Carretas on the Camino Real to Spaceport America."
